Scottish Artist Tessa McGinness uses charcoal and pencil to create local landscapes and structures. Inspired by the countryside surrounding the Stirlingshire village she lives in, Tessa uses fine lines and intricate detail to capture the character of what she draws- in her own unique style.
As well as producing original drawings, Tessa also makes artists prints as well as commissions.
The Art Studio Drymen
Tessa set up The Art Studio in June 2025. The space is open to the public as a Gallery and shop. Tessa works on her commissions within the space as well as running weekly workshops.

Commissions
Tessa works with clients to create unique drawings of subject matters, most commonly houses or landscapes. These can be drawn from photographs, or Tessa will visit the site for some initial sketches before working on pieces in The Art Studio.
Workshops
The Art Studio offers various different workshops, but aimed at catering for all. From beginner to seasoned artiste- the space is welcoming for everyone.
Classes include Collage, Pottery, Bookbinding, Mixed Media, Tapestry and the popular Sip and Paint Nights. The studio also offers private Hire parties for children and adults. Browse what's coming up..
Gallery & Shop
We host new exhibitions every three months, featuring local artists plus Tessa's latest work. Our shop offers cards, giclee prints, art materials and unique gifts.
