Panoramic Pots and Countryside Clay with Morven!

Join Morven at The Art Studio Drymen for a fun day of handbuilding ceramics for all experiences. Taking inspiration from the beautiful countryside around us we will use slab building techniques, and different coloured clays and slips to build an awesome landscape scene which we will then build into a beautiful vase. Then we will learn the historic technique of sprig moulding to apply tiny repeated motifs onto our work. This class is for everyone! We will all work together, have fun, experiment and celebrate failure and success! You will learn: Slab building techniques Techniques with slip and using different coloured clay Plaster casting techniques and how to make tiny moulds to use on pots Morven will take your work to dry and glaze with a clear glaze, returned in around a month to The Art Studio.
